Privacy Policy

RentMaster ("the App") is developed by Saurabh ("Developer", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles any information in connection with your use of RentMaster on Android devices. By installing or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this policy.

RentMaster does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers, the Developer, or any third party. All information you enter into the App — including building details, room configurations, tenant names, contact numbers, advance deposits, and payment records — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database within your device's private storage directory.

The App is designed to operate entirely offline. It does not request the INTERNET permission in its Android manifest and makes zero network connections. The following summarises what the App accesses and does not access:

We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any information to any third party. The App does not integrate analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or any other external SDK that transmits data. There are no in-app advertisements.

All data is stored in the App's private storage directory, which is inaccessible to other applications on your device. The security of this data is governed by Android's application sandboxing model (Android 8.0 Oreo and above). We recommend enabling full-device encryption and using a secure screen lock for additional protection of your device and its data.

You retain full control over your data at all times. To permanently delete all App data, simply uninstall RentMaster from your device via Android's standard uninstall process. This action will permanently remove the local database and all records it contains. Because we hold no server-side copies of your data, there is nothing further to request deletion of.

RentMaster is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older, such as property owners, landlords, PG operators, and rental managers. The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has entered information into the App, you can remove it by uninstalling the application.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Because the App collects no personal data, such updates will typically reflect changes in App functionality rather than data-handling practices. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
